I hope everyone is having a fun and safe Superbowl Sunday!!!
Okay, so here I am waiting for the game to start, and I thouhgt I'd look at what type of current secret shopping assignments are out there. I first went to MSPA...with the thousands of assignments listed, I can only look in my own area (SoCal); however, most assignments are nationwide, so try entering your own zip code to see whats available in your local.
There were two assignments I found interesting. One is a merchandising assignment through Certified Reports, Inc. (CRI) the other was for a toy store with ICU. The toy store is IDEAL for moms who want to take their kids to work with them.
I have never worked for ICU, so I can't say anything about the company, but the fact that they are listing on MSPA should speak volumes about their integrity.

I have listed three links below:
The first is to the MSPA page to read more about the two assignments. The second is to ICU, and the third is to my blog about CRI.
Also, as I have mentioned in earlier blogs, merchandising (The CRI assignment) is not actually secret shopping, but generally will invlove very simple, easy, quick assignments to assist companies such as Walmart with a simple assignment like droppng off advertisement, stocking a shelf, taking a quick inventory of a single or few small items. Although the toy store pays more, as a general rule --more money, more time. I have also mentioned in the past, when I was working the industry full time, I came to enjoy merchandising more than secret shopping. I highly recommend checking into merchandising...It's usually quick and easy work with a one-two minute report.
